Hi!
I’m Rohan Mitchell, a Jamaican illustrator and designer currently based in Ontario, Canada, after spending 11 years in Japan. My fascination for retro imagery, the quotidian and themes surrounding the human condition subconsciously define my work.
After earning a BFA in Visual Communications from Edna Manley College of the Visual and Performing Arts, I worked as a graphic designer in a boutique advertising agency for a few years. Still, I was always drawn to illustrating (excuse the corny pun). With a mix of traditional and digital media, I create flows or clashes between organic and geometric elements to express various concepts.
I generally create artwork for editorials, publishing projects and advertising campaigns but I’m always open to more. We should collaborate on a project or two, so let’s start with a conversation here: hello@rohanartwork.com
